Fall (August) entry: Admission and financial aid decisions are made continuously through May 1. After May 1, applications are considered on a space- and funds- available basis. Students who submit applications for both admission and financial aid by the February 1 priority date typically receive larger scholarships and have a larger proportion of their financial need met. All applicants will be considered for any merit scholarships for which they are eligible; no additional scholarship application is required. However, students interested in scholarships should also apply for financial aid at the same time as admission since many scholarships include a need-based component; that is, recipients are selected on merit while amounts vary on the basis of financial need.
Spring (January) entry: Simon’s Rock enrolls a small class of students who choose to go to college in the middle of their high school junior or senior year. The application deadline for January entry is December 1. Merit scholarships are typically not available for January entrants, though all other forms of financial aid are offered.
