Beethoven: Symphony No. 2
  - Filled with humor and vitality, power and depth
Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 24
  - Reflective and passionate; it was beloved by Beethoven & Brahms
Haydn: Symphony No. 99
 - At turns whimsical and poignant; a prime example of Haydn's genius

"In addition to serving as this peerlessly adventurous orchestra’s music director, Leon Botstein is the president of Bard College." - The New York Times

“The ear was drawn to the piano... Ms. Polonsky is someone to watch.” - The New York Times

President Botstein is the music director and principal conductor of The Orchestra Now. The orchestra and its graduate curriculum are a collaboration of Bard College, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, the Bard College Conservatory of Music, and its Graduate Conducting Program.

The Orchestra Now (TŌN), a unique training orchestra and master’s degree program founded by Bard this year, is preparing a new generation of musicians to break down barriers between modern audiences and great orchestral music of the past and present. Bringing together extraordinary musicians from around the world, TŌN mines the wealth of underperformed repertoire, reimagines traditional concert formats, and strives to make the experience of the performers a part of the listeners’ experience. At a TŌN concert, musicians and audience inspire one another, each following their curiosity with a shared sense of adventure.

Concert is free and open to the public.
