Steve Coleman, director of admission, will speak at an educational forum at Boston University on Sunday, October 14. The forum is open to all who are interested in learning about opportunities for intellectually curious students.


Jack Cushman ’99 orchestrated a flash mob to help make his marriage proposal to girlfriend Teresa Elsey memorable. The video went viral, eventually winding up on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer, among others! Watch Jack propose.

Heather Fisch ‘01 presented Blue Venice at the Mahaiwe in Great Barrington — a high-flown fantasy about a young man who is kidnapped and thrust into the delirious and shadowy world of Blue Venice.


Professor Brendan Mathews was awarded an Artist Fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) for Fiction/Creative Nonfiction. He was one of 530 artists competing for nine fellowships! His work was also the inspiration for or a semester-long project at the School of Visual Arts. At a gallery show in NYC, a graduate illustration class displayed work based on Brendan’s story, My Last Attempt to Explain to You What Happened with the Lion Tamer. Brendan had high praise for the students' work.
