Discovery Day at Simon’s Rock

GREAT BARRINGTON, MA – On Saturday, May 10, Bard College at Simon’s Rock will hold its last Discovery Day of the academic year.  Discovery Day is a comprehensive introduction to the college for perspective students and their families.
 
Events begin at 9:30 am in Blodgett House and include: A welcome reception and brunch; an introduction by the deans; tours and interviews and an opportunity to learn about academic programs, residential life and financial aid.

About Simon’s Rock
 
Simon’s Rock is a selective, supportive, intensive college of the liberal arts and sciences in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Students typically enter Simon’s Rock after 10th or 11th grade in high school. The college offers 43 diverse concentrations leading to an AA in two years or a BA in four.
 
Simon’s Rock was founded by Elizabeth Blodgett Hall in 1966. In 1979 it became part of Bard College (established in 1860), which is located 50 miles away, in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.
