Bard College at Simon’s Rock December Line-Up: Affordable, Year-Round Culture in the Berkshires

GREAT BARRINGTON, MA—Bard College at Simon’s Rock announces its event line-up for the month of December. All events listed are free and open to the public and provide Berkshire County residents an opportunity to dig into affordable culture, year-round. From visual and performing arts to lectures and readings, the campus moves into high gear as the numerous cultural venues in the Berkshires wrap up the summer season. Exhibition: Barbara Resnik’s “Pentimento”

Retired Simon’s Rock faculty member, Barbara Resnik brings her work to the College’s Atrium Gallery at the Alumni Library. Resnik’s work is included in many private collections. She brings a rare perspective to the gallery as an attorney, graphic designer, and printmaker. Her interests include issues of race, class, gender, and the law; art and media in contemporary culture; and population policy and reproductive rights. She has served as catalogue and exhibition designer for numerous galleries and institutions. The Gallery is open 8:30 am – midnight, daily.
