The Twelfth Annual W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Lecture has been scheduled for Monday, March 19th. We are honored to have Dr. Yaw Bredwa-Mensah join us from Ghana to present this year's lecture. Dr. Bredwa-Mensah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Archaeology at the University of Ghana, Legon. He specializes in the archaeology of slavery and has three active archaeological digs in Ghana, while also teaching at the University of Ghana, the National Film Institute and the Pentecost University College in Accra, Ghana. During the recent intersession trip to Ghana with James King and Ryan Carey, Dr. Bredwa-Mensah served as the group's facilitator and invited everyone to visit one of his archaeological digs.
