Faculty in Mathematics

Bard College at Simon’s Rock invites applications for a regular, full-time position in Mathematics, beginning Fall 2023. A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or related field by the time of appointment and a demonstrated ability to teach courses ranging from the introductory to the advanced undergraduate level are required. The ideal candidate has some research experience and a research plan that incorporates undergraduate students.

Bard College at Simon’s Rock is a small, selective liberal arts college located in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. We educate students from across the country and around the world who are ready to start college at 16 or 17 years of age. In addition to the College, our innovative high school program, Bard Academy, serves students at the 9th- and 10th-grade level. The full-time faculty teaching load is 3/3. The successful candidate will teach primarily in the College, and will also contribute to the Academy program.
