Alumna pianist Manon Hutton-DeWys performs a program of music for solo piano and piano with cello, assisted by cellist Paul Wolfram. Manon has performed regularly at Simon's Rock since the opening of the Arts Center. She is a graduate of Simon's Rock, Bard College, the Mannes College of Music, and is currently completing her doctorate at City University of New York. Her program will include Beethoven's Cello Sonata no. 3, Brahms' Four Ballades, and a selection of modern and contemporary piano solos, including works by twentieth-century pioneers Leo Ornstein and Vivian Fine. The concert is free and open to the public and will take place in Kellogg Music Center.
