Jazz Ensemble Spring Concert

The concert will include three special guest artists: faculty member Bill Dunbar, who will sing a beautiful Brazilian piece by Antonio Carlos Jobim, our applied music faculty member David Wampler on trombone, and Thomas Sadin on baritone sax

We will play a wide range of jazz standards by Ellington, Mongo Santamaria, and others. We'll also perform "Dream Dance," a John Myers original piece in 7/8 meter.  

Concert performers: Russell Allen on drums, Emmett Clarendon on guitar and bass, Olivia Davis on drums and voice, Xander Guy on oboe, Sebastian Lawson on trombone, Ezra Lee on alto sax, Zara London-Southern on clarinet and voice, Ross MacFadyen on guitar, Whitney MacIntyre on trombone, Ever Sun on trumpet, Andrew Wainwright on trumpet and voice, Zeda Wolf on violin and percussion, and Alena Zhang on piano.
