White Oak Tree Celebration: Part 2

Saturday, May 11, 2019

Liebowitz Center for International Studies

Join us for an afternoon of music, stories, craft-making, and other entertainment with treehouse-builder extraordinaire Allen Timmons of Backyard Heirlooms, starting at 1:00 p.m.

At 2:00 p.m., Rani Findlay, with the assistance of the Berkshire Grove of TreeSisters, will lead a tree blessing ceremony in honor of the white oak tree on the campus of Bard College at Simon's Rock.

This educational, family-friendly afternoon is presented as part of the weekend-long White Oak Tree Celebration, a time to raise awareness about the formidable 260-year-old tree on the campus of Bard College at Simon's Rock. The event is hosted by Daniel's Art Party at Simon's Rock, an exploration of progressive multimedia and community engagement.

Free and open to the public. Register to attend.
