Encore Performance: Dvorak String Quartet

The Simon's Rock String Quartet offers a second performance of Antonin Dvorak's Quartet no. 12 in F major, op. 96, "The American." This group has been working together since September 2018 and consists of four advanced string players who have forged themselves into a cohesive chamber ensemble. The first performance took place on Thursday, Dec. 12 and was warmly received; hence the decision to offer a repeat for those who missed it, and for those who wish to hear it again. The work lasts approximately 30 minutes. The members of the quartet are Ella Menees, first violin; Daniel Rose-Levine, second violin; Katie Rumin, viola; and Julian White, cello.
