National immigrant rights activist, vice president for the Black Los Angeles Young Democrats, and UnDocuBlack Network (UBN) advocate Denea Joseph will deliver the keynote address, "Undocumented & Black in the Era of Trumpism," for this year's Symposium on Social Justice and Inclusion (November 1, 2019 - November 8, 2019). 

About Denea Joseph:

Denea (Pronounced Denae) Joseph is an UndocuBlack DACA recipient who immigrated to the United States at the age of seven years old from Belize, Central America.

Denea has been vocal about her Undocublack experience, even being featured in Los Angeles Magazine's historic immigration issue and attending the State of the Union as the guest of Senator Kamala Harris. 

Denea is a national immigrant rights activist and serves as the vice president for the Black Los Angeles Young Democrats and communications coordinator for the UndocuBlack Network (UBN), where she advocates for the representation of UndocuBlack immigrants within the mainstream immigrant narrative.
