Sunday, January 26, 2020

Kellogg Music Center

Please note, the concert with Edward Flower has been canceled. We hope you can join us for our next South Berkshire Concert with Francesca Anderegg on Sunday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m.

--

A concert by solo guitarist Edward Flower, performing the music of Bach, Villa-Lobos, and Mr. Flower. This appearance marks Flower's return to the concert stage in the Kellogg Music Center. In fact, it was Flower who played the first concert in the space after it was moved to its present location on the Simon's Rock campus in 1993.

Edward Flower is renowned for his inspired, emotionally riveting, and lyrical guitar and lute playing. His concert appearances range from New York’s Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Recital Hall to London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Sidney Opera House. He has toured extensively in the United States, including appearances with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Canada, Great Britain, throughout Europe, Sweden, Greece, and Australia.

Admission: Free with suggested donation of $10.
