Join us for a lecture with psychologist and psychoanalyst Malin Fors entitled "Riots and Riotousness--A Celebration of Humor as Queer Resistance." This event is the fourth of eight lectures planned this semester in the 12th Proseminar in Humanistic and Social Scientific Inquiry.
Fors is the author of A Grammar of Power in Psychotherapy, her first book-length manuscript, and recipient of the 2016 Johanna K. Tabin Book Proposal Prize. Additionally, Fors serves as an assistant professor at the University of Tromsø, the Arctic University of Norway, where she teaches students about diversity, privilege awareness, and critical perspectives on cultural competency. Fors is also an external examiner for the Swedish Psychological Association’s Specialist degree program.
