Faculty Recital: From Bach to Brahms

Music faculty members Anne Legêne, cello, and Larry Wallach, piano, will perform a program of solo and chamber music featuring the connections between Johann Sebastian Bach and Johannes Brahms. The program will include Bach's Suite no. 2 in D minor for solo cello; a set of short piano works by Brahms including his version of Bach's Chaconne for solo violin transcribed for piano left hand; and concluding with Brahms' Sonata no. 2 in F major for cello and piano, op. 99.
