Teach-In Keynote with Rosa Clemente

To kick-off the Social Justice and Diversity Teach-In at Simon's Rock, there will be a Keynote by Rosa Clemente. This keynote is called "Critical Engagement: History and Modes of Radical Activist Movements." This keynote will explore the complexities, histories, and modes of social justice and activism. Using the Young Lords Party and Black Panther Parties as references for the creation and significance of activist movements, Rosa discusses histories of activism and transitions into her own work as well. Throughout the keynote, the struggles and benefits of activism will be explored.
