Kellogg Music Center
The next South Berkshire Concert will be a recital by Stephanie Griffin, viola, and Cheryl Seltzer, piano. It will take place on Sunday, April 2, at 3 pm in Kellogg Music Center. The program will include works by Schubert, Wolpe, Babbitt, Mamlok, Griffin, and a new viola sonata by Roberto Sierra. Stephanie Griffin is known to our audiences as the violist of Momenta Quartet, whose third appearance on campus took place on February 11 of this year, when they performed George Crumb’s “Black Angels.” Cheryl Seltzer last appeared in a South Berkshire Concert piano recital during the 1970’s. She is a co-founder (in 1966) of the Continuum New York concerts, and has participated in numerous recordings of modern American music.
Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10.
