Dr. Brush has taught at Bard College, Williams College, and SUNY Albany. She also has a part-time private practice specializing in psychodynamic, behavioral, and sexual therapy. She has been a research psychologist at Eagleville Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (Pennsylvania), a consultant to the Kingston (New York) Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect, and coordinator of the Dutchess County Alcoholism Clinic. Her research studies have been published in Journal of Sex Research, Journal of Applied Psychology, High School Journal, and Motivation and Emotion. (1986–2010)
