Most students apply to the College as 10th and 11th graders. High school seniors are eligible to apply in the fall of their senior year in order to start college in our spring semester. High school seniors who graduate early or at a young age are also eligible to apply.
Ready to get started? Use the Common Application to apply for January or August 2017 admission. Set up a Common Application account—use the link from the Simon’s Rock website and Bard College at Simon’s Rock will automatically be added to “My Colleges.” Please fill out both the Common Application and Supplement with two essay questions, and look out for more information from the Admission Office at Simon’s Rock after you submit your application.
Note: Students who score between a 65-99 on the TOEFL and a 5.5 - 6.5 on the IELTS will be considered for the Pathway to Academic Choice and Excellence (PACE) program.
Bard Academy at Simon’s Rock is the nation’s first two-year high school for boarding and day students. Our bright, young scholars enter the Academy as 9th or 10th graders. After the 10th grade, Academy students start college early, and matriculate at Bard College at Simon’s Rock.
