OSUN | Open Society University Network

Through OSUN, a network of top international academic institutions led by Bard College and Central European University, you’re able to exchange ideas, gain cultural insights, and explore new perspectives that will transform your worldview and arm you with new tools to address tomorrow’s global challenges.

Students in audience, OSUN

Your opportunities for connection and cross-cultural learning at Simon’s Rock extend well beyond our campus. As part of the Bard Network, Simon’s Rock students and faculty are directly plugged into the Open Society University Network (OSUN)—co-founded by Bard College and Central European University and supported by Open Society Foundations—and benefit from building relationships, sharing insights and experiences, and expanding on research and ideas across borders.

OSUN is a new model of global higher education that integrates learning and the advancement of knowledge across geographic and demographic boundaries, promotes civic engagement on behalf of open societies, and expands access of underserved communities to higher education.

Through integrating curricula, teaching, and research across an international consortium of partner institutions, OSUN puts a global network of leading academic thinkers and researchers focused on addressing tomorrow’s challenges at the fingertips of the Simon’s Rock community.
