Biography

B.A., The Evergreen State College, M.A., Antioch University of Seattle
L.M.H.C. 2003 – present

Ms. Daniels is a psychotherapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience and joined the Simon’s Rock faculty in 2013. Her expertise is in the treatment of children and young adults, with a focus on trauma and PTSD, grief, and personality disorders. Before coming to Simon’s Rock, she taught in the graduate program at Antioch University. In addition to her courses, Ms. Daniels has taught numerous tutorials on topics such as Object Relations Theory; Women’s Narratives of Psychopathology; and Death, Dying and Bereavement. She has also supervised Senior Projects, such as “Effects of Psychotropic Medication on the Artist and Their Art,” “Social Media and Perceptions of Mental Illness,” “The Good-Enough Therapist,” and “Improving Medical Interactions with Children.”
