Mathematics Program

The mathematics program offers a wide selection of courses, all taught in small classes.

AA students are required to take a one-semester course that includes some writing about mathematics. For the BA concentration in mathematics, students must take five 300-level courses, including at least one course in both Real Analysis and Modern Algebra. The Simon's Rock math program lies within the Division of Science, Mathematics, and Computing.

The mathematics program consists of six full-time faculty members, all dedicated teachers and scholars.

 

We organize and take part in a number of math-focused events on and off-campus. Some of these are organized by faculty, and others by our dedicated students. Math events are announced on a special mailing list. If you would like to join the list, follow the link below.
