When to Apply
You can start the application process anytime, up to a year before enrollment, by filling out either the Simon’s Rock application or Common Application.
Most students apply to the College as 10th and 11th graders. High school seniors are eligible to apply in the fall of their senior year in order to start college in our spring semester. High school seniors who graduate early or at a young age are also eligible to apply. If you are an 8th or 9th grader, consider applying to Bard Academy.
Completed college applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year as long as space remains available. We encourage students to apply early to ensure their place in the class. Decisions are typically released within 2 weeks of completion of the application process. As many of our scholarships are awarded to qualified students at the time of admission, we encourage students to apply by the following dates for full consideration:
- Spring 2026: Apply by November 1
- Fall 2026
- Early Action: Apply by December 1
- Regular Decision: Apply by April 1
The Financial Aid Application: Available October 1st
About 80 percent of Simon’s Rock students receive a financial aid package. The CSS Profile and FAFSA are available on October 1st, We recommend that you complete your financial aid application at the same time as your admission application to ensure that you receive a potential financial aid offer in a timely manner. All applicants will be considered for any scholarships for which they are eligible; no additional application is required.
