Jazz Ensemble/Improv Workshop Concert

Spring concert of the Bard College at Simon's Rock Jazz Ensemble and Simon’s Rock Jazz Improvisation Workshop

Friday, May 12th at 8 PM in the McConnell Theater - Daniel Arts Center!

We will play music from many great composers of jazz, including Thelonius Monk, John Coltrane, and more! The concert will include faculty guest artists Allan Dean on trumpet and Pete Toigo on bass. The concert will also include an original composition by John Myers: “Dream Dance” in 7/8 meter.

Featuring lots of expressive improvisation from our talented players!
