Update Item Order, Size, and Display
- There are six displays: three screen sizes each for home and news
- Control a display by editing the grid layout fields, each display has its own section
- The interface allows for signficant control and choices, but it also requires a steady
review over layout
- Each number corresponds to the news item below
- Every row must have the same number of columns as the other rows for that display
- Different displays can have different numbers of columns
- Different displays have different optimum amount of columns
- For Index, always use both rows
- For News, additional rows are optional
- Control the size of an item, by repeating it’s number
- Item can be extended horizontally by repeating it across the row (4 4)
- Item can be extended vertically by repeating it across columns - in the same row slot
- Items must be rectangular
- Don’t repeat an item in a non-adjacent spot (i.e. don’t: 4 3 4)
- Items don’t need to be listed
- If an item is used for index, it should be listed on all three home displays
- If an item is used for news, it should be listed on all three news displays
- Use preview to double check layouts
