Student Transportation

Getting Around

Downtown Great Barrington is not far from campus — a moderate walk or bike ride, or a short drive. You can always hop on the regional bus service. The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) bus makes hourly loops around Great Barrington and stops regularly at Simon’s Rock.

Students may have cars on campus after completing their first two semesters. Vehicles must be registered and all drivers are subject to state and campus regulations found in our Student Handbook .

TRITOWN CONNECTOR

The TriTown Connector is a new
transportation service for everyone within the towns of Egremont, Great Barrington and Stockbridge — now with service to West Stockbridge and Monterey, just call 413-591-3826. Tell us where you are and where you want to go.

A TriTown Connector van will pick you up and take you where you want to go, within those five towns.

You can schedule your ride for anytime during the hours of operation, but you can only call to schedule your ride between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Break Shuttles

Students can reserve a seat on shuttles to and from area transportation hubs.

Transportation to Upper Campus

For students going between upper and lower campus, a campus shuttle is available from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday – Friday. The shuttle can be taken off line with no advance notice, please check your email for any shuttle changes.
