Mathematics Program
The mathematics program offers a wide selection of courses, all taught in small classes. AA students are required to take a one-semester course that includes some writing about mathematics. For the BA concentration in mathematics, students must take five 300-level courses, including a year-long sequence. The Simon's Rock math program lies within the Division of Science, Mathematics, and Computing.
The mathematics program consists of five full-time faculty members, all dedicated teachers and scholars.
The Math Club meets weekly to solve challenging problems and discuss interesting topics. In addition, we interact with the broader math community by attending conferences and inviting speakers to campus.
