Biography
M.F.A in Creative Writing, The New School
B.S. in Physics, University of Central Florida
Mr. Hayden's background is in designing and teaching curricula to help students bridge the gap between high school and college mathematics. From 2011-2015, he developed and led the mathematics program at S.E.O. Scholars, an academic nonprofit devoted to helping underserved New York City high school students get into and thrive in top colleges. Here at Simon's Rock, Mr. Hayden specializes in teaching in Bard Academy, where he aims to engage each student with meaningful and challenging mathematics that will prepare them for future success in the College. Mr. Hayden has been teaching at Simon's Rock since 2015.
