Our Health Services staff includes three registered nurses and a pediatrician who have extensive experience working with adolescents. We are available to discuss concerns, no matter how minor, and will assist you in caring for your health.

  • We counsel students with concerns about sleep, diet, and stress.
  • We provide birth control.
  • We provide smoking cessation assistance.
  • We complete basic lab tests on the premises, and other necessary lab work can be drawn here and sent out.
  • We work closely with our counseling staff for students with mental health issues affecting their physical health.

Our physician is on the local hospital staff and can order testing there, including X-rays, as well as make referrals to the ER and local specialists as needed. The physician follows up on all students who have been seen in the hospital.

If you cannot easily access your primary care provider, our physician can perform physical exams as needed for camp, foreign travel, and working papers. We are able to order and administer most immunizations.

In addition, it may be necessary to communicate and/or receive documentation from your current or former provider, in order to proceed.
  • You must be willing to continue meeting with a staff counselor, as clinically appropriate, so that there can be full coordination of care and oversight.
