Health and counseling staff will work together to address your needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wellness Center is located in Livingston Hall Student Union on the 3rd Floor.
Beginning March 23, 2020
For students with permission to reside on campus, to access Health Services please call the Wellness Center at 413‐528-7353. The receptionist will briefly discuss your presenting concerns and then direct you to the next step.
To access Counseling Services, if you have permission to reside on campus and had been meeting with a counselor for scheduled appointments prior to Spring Break, your counselor will email you to arrange a time to speak by phone.
The Wellness Center is closed during school breaks.
An on-call nurse and on-call counselor are available by phone and can be reached by first contacting a residence director or Campus Safety for an initial assessment of your concerns and the resources needed.
Our Health Services staff includes three registered nurses and a pediatrician who have extensive experience working with adolescents. We are available to discuss concerns, no matter how minor, and will assist you in caring for your health.
Our physician is on the local hospital staff and can order testing there, including X-rays, as well as make referrals to the ER and local specialists as needed. The physician follows up on all students who have been seen in the hospital.
If you cannot easily access your primary care provider, our physician can perform physical exams as needed for camp, foreign travel, and working papers. We are able to order and administer most immunizations.
Counseling is free for all currently enrolled students. Appointments for psychiatric evaluation and medication management are scheduled by referral from a Counseling Services clinician and are billed separately through the College/Academy insurance policy.
