We offer the following programs:
Our flagship three-week multi-genre writing program in the beautiful Berkshires.
Every summer, a group of curious, talented, and engaged young writers live and write together.
If you join us, you’ll write more than you ever expected and in many genres — fiction, plays, poems, essays, memoir — while receiving supportive, positive feedback from peers and your workshop leader. After each day’s workshop, there are hikes, plays, blueberry picking and museums to enjoy.
We offer a number of shorter, virtual workshop experiences.
Spend time working on in the company of other young writers. Learn writing practices that help you write more and more easily.
Have you been dragging your feet to write your Common App essay? Do you just need a bit of motivation and help? This virtual workshop will help you start, revise, and work through writing your college essay — without frustration. Workshop leaders and fellow participants will provide feedback.
Nervous about what it means to write an essay in college? Perhaps you’ve taken a gap year and have forgotten what it means to write an essay? This virtual workshop teaches you to assess your assignments, break down the process of writing, and tackle the work effectively.
Wish you could attend our in-person three-week program but simply can’t? Join this virtual workshop for five days of playful, thoughtful and creative exploration of language. Find a community of like-minded young writers and write more, and in many genres, than you thought possible in five days.
