Harmonic Convergence

Our mission is to create opportunities for teen writers to:

  • Create, think, experiment, and play with language
  • Learn ways to engage with thinking and writing that promote resiliency, purpose, and fun
  • See themselves as part of a larger writing and reading tradition
  • Better understand themselves as writers and their writing process
  • See themselves as the authority of their own work
  • Connect with like-minded writers

We offer the following programs:

Young Writers Workshop

Our flagship three-week multi-genre writing program in the beautiful Berkshires.

Every summer, a group of curious, talented, and engaged young writers live and write together.

If you join us, you’ll write more than you ever expected and in many genres — fiction, plays, poems, essays, memoir — while receiving supportive, positive feedback from peers and your workshop leader. After each day’s workshop, there are hikes, plays, blueberry picking and museums to enjoy.

This will be our last year in the beautiful Berkshires. YWW will be hosted at a different campus in 2026 – stay tuned for details.

Virtual YWW Multi-Genre

Wish you could attend our in-person three-week program but simply can’t? Join this virtual workshop for five days of playful, thoughtful and creative exploration of language. Find a community of like-minded young writers and write more, and in many genres, than you thought possible in five days.
