Bard College at Simon's Rock: the Early College

20 Days in Mariupol Screening

Saturday, February 24

Fisher Science Center - Clark Auditorium

Please join us for a screening of the Academy Award nominated documentary 20 Days in Mariupol by filmmaker and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Mstyslav Chernov. The 24th of February marks the second year of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Ukrainian students on campus, in partnership with Razom for Ukraine, are bringing this harrowing story to Bard College at Simon's Rock for a special screening on this day to honor all who lost their lives for freedom.

We will hold a discussion about the contents of the film and try to answer questions that come up following the screening.

Content Warning: This film contains difficult imagery, graphic violence, graphic depictions and discussions of war, violence, and its aftermath. Viewer discretion is advised due to the potentially distressing imagery including scenes of conflict, destruction, and human suffering.
