Regular Maintenance Tasks

The following tasks should be performed at least once a month. 

1. Run Dependency Scan: http://a.cms.omniupdate.com/10/#oucampus/simons-rock/www/setup/sites
2. Visit Required Actions: http://a.cms.omniupdate.com/10/#oucampus/simons-rock/www/reports/brokenpages
3. Publish Site Map: http://a.cms.omniupdate.com/10/#oucampus/simons-rock/www/setup/sites
4. Check Google Webmaster Tools
   1. Check Messages for errors
   2. Review Index Status for any alarm bells
   3. On crawl/sitemaps: resubmit sitemap.xml 
5. Check Google Analytics: Custom 404 Report and 403 Report
6. Siteimprove
   1. Check QA Policies
   2. Create and check policy for outdated content
      1. Last month and this month
      2. In December, check for current year
      3. At beginning and end of semester, check for things like winter, spring, summer, and fall. 
7. Save backup of website
8. Browser test main pages of website (rotate browsers and devices)
