Biography

MLIS, University of Wisconsin-Madison
BA in English, The Pennsylvania State University

As the Archivist & Program Manager for the Early College Research Institute, Erin collects, organizes, and maintains the Simon’s Rock Archives and supports the activities of the ECRI. This includes responding to research requests, identifying opportunities for collection development within the early college framework, and promoting access to archival materials. She is also a managing editor of ECRI's digital, open access journal, Early College Folio.

Erin grew up in rural Pennsylvania where she held her first job in a public library. After college, Erin served in AmeriCorps as a National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) Team Leader, VISTA member, and NCCC staff member before returning to libraries in 2018. In addition to her work in both public and academic libraries, Erin has performed research for the Women Writers Project and periodically serves as a Smithsonian Digital Volunteer for the Smithsonian Transcription Center.
