Faculty Concert Series Presents Hevreh Ensemble

The performances feature original contemporary American compositions that combine classical, jazz and world music elements. The works often are inspired by themes from Jewish spirituality, religious and racial tolerance, and environmental sustainability. Their performances have been called: “spiritually uplifting” and “strikingly original.”  The group was formed by Simon’s Rock music faculty member Judith Dankser who performs on double reeds. 

The performance will take place at Kellogg Music Center at 3 pm on Sunday, September 25. Admission is free, and seating is first-come, first-served.
