The last Faculty Forum of this academic year features Dr. Tai Young-Taft, Faculty in Economics, presenting from his research on "The Taming of the Economic Agent: A History of Mathematical Analysis and the Modern Individual." Dr. Young-Taft has a BA in Political Science from Reed College, an MA in Statistics from Yale University, and a PhD in Economics from The New School for Social Research. His research interests include financial market dynamics and their linkage to the real economy, particularly in developing countries, stock-flow consistent modeling, stochastic dynamical systems, and the history of economic thought. In addition to Simon's Rock, he has taught at the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait, New York University, and St. Francis College in Brooklyn.
