Berkshire Compact 6th Grade Visit

Nearly 200 local sixth graders will visit Bard College at Simon's Rock as part of Berkshire Compact for Education's college readiness initiative. Students will participate in classroom learning in various subjects, tour the residence halls, visit the Kilpatrick Athletic Center, and share lunch on campus while learning all about what it's like to pursue a college education. Berkshire Compact works to give "every sixth-grade student in Berkshire County [the opportunity] to visit a local college campus in April or May. It is part of an effort to raise awareness of college in county residents at an early age." Bard College at Simon's Rock is a proud partner in this initiative.
