Blodgett House
The Social Studies Division's Proseminar in Social Scientific Inquiry for the fall semester 2018, "W.E.B. Du Bois and the Color Line: Race, Power, and Politics," invites you to attend a lecture by Dash Harris, activist and documentarian.
Harris's public talk, "Diasporic Blackness," will take place Monday, November 5, in Blodgett House at 6:30 p.m. This talk is free and open to the public.
Dash Harris is the creator of Negro, a docu-series exploring identity, colonization, racism, the African Diaspora in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the color complex among Latinx. Through candid interviews from Latinx, the social manifestations and consequences of the deep-seated color complex is deconstructed.
