Fruit: A Poetry Reading by Bruce Snider

To celebrate National Poetry Month, the Library will host a virtual reading by poet Bruce Snider (information to join will be shared via email). He will be reading from his most recent poetry collection, Fruit, which came out earlier this year and won the Four Lakes Prize in Poetry. A Q&A will follow, moderated by Library Director Brian Mikesell.
About Bruce Snider
Bruce Snider is the author of two other poetry collections, Paradise, Indiana (Pleiades Press, 2013) and The Year We Studied Women (University of Wisconsin Press, 2003); is co-editor of an anthology of essays, The Poem’s Country: Place and Poetic Practice (Pleiades Press, March 2018) with Shara Lessley; and has written essays, including "Where Are All the Rural Gay Poets?" (originally published in the New England Review, 38.3, 2017). He is also an associate professor at the University of San Francisco.
