Pumpkin Pentathlon to Fight Hunger

Though autumn is when the harvest is traditionally celebrated, it is not a season of plenty for all. Hunger and food insecurity know no season and the added pressures of COVID have made this a particularly difficult time. In a spirit of sharing, The Center for Food Studies and White House Productions (a.k.a. John & Brian) are sponsoring a Pumpkin Pentathlon to Fight Hunger.

We'll have five pumpkin-themed outdoor games (pumpkin bocce, pumpkin roll, and more) with a suggested donation of one non-perishable food item per entry, which will be given to the People's Pantry in Great Barrington. Additionally, John and Brian will make a donation to the food-related non-profit chosen by and in honor of the winner of each game.

Let’s have some gourd old fashioned fun, raise awareness of food insecurity, and donate to organizations that fight hunger!
