Presentation of online content should be optimized for all reasonable situations, including:
We are not actively supporting and testing the following browsers, all of which have less than 1% of users over the past year (as of 12/2017): Samsung Internet, Amazon Silk, Android Browser, Opera, Opera Mini, and UC Browser.
Use link titles to ensure that links are clear and distinguishable. If the same link text is used for different destinations, the link text must be differentiated with a descriptive and unique link title. For example, if multiple 'Contact Us' links are used on the same page that point to different pages, add unique link titles such as 'Contact Admission' and 'Contact the Kilpatrick Athletic Center'. Also if is links have generic text such as Read More or Learn More add a link title to clarify what the 'more' is.
If you want text to stand out, set the content apart rather than relying on bold or italics.
The established patterns are built to ensure consistent and accessible content. One exception is the use of iFrames for 3rd party content such as YouTube videos.
Use established patterns or blank paragraphs to create white space.
