If segementation is possible, advertising landing pages should include supporting information below the form.
We have determined that landing pages with a form perform best when the form is towards the top of the page (see breadcrumb, above the fold, and 5 Signs). But should there be content below the form?
The prediction was the one with detail would perform better. Page performance is linked to keyword optimization and the additional content helped to establish relevant keywords. Additionally, the extra content helps support the message and would entice visitors to request more info. Additionally, for the targeted keywords, the detailed page performed better than the more generic 3-signs.
This is one case where more is more. The page with details performed significantly better.
