Simon’s Rock operates independently within the Bard network. The provost and vice president, John B. Weinstein, serves as Simon’s Rock chief academic officer, working with the guidance of the Board of Overseers, Bard College Board of Trustees, and Bard College President Leon Botstein.
The provost, together with the provost’s administrative and operations staff, work with college deans and faculty guiding undergraduate research, study and teaching, academic advising, college admissions and enrollment, the registrar, libraries, information technology, institutional advancement and international education.
